A monogram distills a name to one or two letters, framed and balanced — the go-to mark for boutiques, studios, makers and personal brands. This generator pairs refined display serifs and clean geometric faces with a circle frame — or a diamond or star above the letters in the stacked layout — keeping the initials centered.

Type a name (we derive the initials, or set your own), pick the layout and palette — ink, gold-leaf, midnight navy — and add the full name underneath if you want a lockup. It renders live and exports a vector SVG plus transparent PNGs for packaging, stationery, storefronts and stamps.

Real exports from this generator

Made with the generator on this page on 1 October 2026 in a headless Chromium browser: settings as listed under each logo, then “Download SVG” and “Download PNG”. The images are the downloaded SVG files, unedited.

What you download: SVG is vector with every letter outlined (no live text, no font needed), canvas 1000 × 1000. PNG is a 1600 px-wide raster (1600 × 1600 px), transparent only if ticked, with no DPI stored — about 13.5 cm wide at 300 ppi. The brand kit (.zip) adds favicon.ico (16/32/48), a 512 px avatar and the colours as .txt/.json. Typefaces here: Abril Fatface, Archivo Black, Anton, Staatliches, all SIL OFL 1.1 per their font files (license).

Limits we tested: Name up to 28 characters, tagline 20, initials 3, all set in capitals. Japanese (kana and JIS X 0208 kanji) and Korean (KS X 1001 hangul) come from bundled Noto subsets; anything else — e.g. 髙, 똠 or emoji — is not drawn, and the tool names it. One icon from this page’s set, preset palettes only, no image upload. A download is not a trademark registration or search.

One letter or two?

A single initial in a frame reads as a premium, stamp-like mark; two or three initials read as a fuller monogram lockup. An elegant serif suits fashion and beauty; a clean geometric face suits modern studios and consultancies. Add the full name below for a complete identity.

Monogram styles to try

A monogram is just your initials, arranged with intent. Four directions to start from:

Single initial

One letter in a frame — a clean, stamp-like mark for a personal brand, boutique or maker.

Side-by-side initials

Two or three letters set side by side in the ring — the classic monogram lockup.

Intertwined initials

Letters woven into one mark — elegant for fashion, beauty, weddings and stationery. The generator sets letters side by side; to interlace them, export the SVG, break the letters apart in a vector editor and overlap them.

Initials + full name

A letter mark with the full name beneath — a complete identity in a single logo.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a monogram logo from my initials?

Type your name and the tool derives the initials (or type your own), then pick a frame, a typeface and colors. Add the full name underneath for a lockup, and download the SVG and PNG free.

How many letters should a monogram have?

One letter makes a clean, stamp-like mark; two or three suit a personal or studio name. Keep it to three at most so the mark stays legible when small.

Can I use my logo commercially?

Yes. Logos you make here are built from an original parametric engine and open-licensed (SIL OFL) fonts, so you can use the downloaded files for commercial projects — merch, channels, storefronts and print. See the licensing page for the full terms.

Will my brand logo be trademark-safe?

We don’t run a trademark search, and a generated logo is not a registered trademark. Before you build a brand around it, check it against existing marks (for example the USPTO database) and avoid names or symbols that copy an existing brand. The design is a starting point, not legal advice.
