Japanese and Korean also work — kana, kanji and hangul switch to a bundled CJK typeface automatically.

A Twitch channel shows your logo in two very different sizes: large on stream overlays, starting screens and panels, and tiny as the round profile picture next to your name in chat, the following list and the directory. One design rarely works at both. This maker lets you build both from one name: a stacked or badge wordmark with a controller, bolt or hexagon for the big placements, and a monogram — your initials in the Initials field — for the avatar.

Twitch’s help center lists profile pictures at 256 × 256 px, up to 10 MB, as GIF, JPG or PNG (checked 30 September 2026). The brand kit exports a 512 × 512 avatar, which downsizes cleanly to that, plus favicons and your palette; the main download is a vector SVG and a 1,600-px-wide transparent PNG for overlays. This tool does not make the 1,200 × 480 profile banner, emotes or panel graphics — place the SVG on those in any editor.

Built for the tiny circle

Twitch crops your profile picture to a circle and shows it at avatar size in chat and follow lists, so a wordmark there turns into noise. Use the monogram layout with two letters, a high-contrast neon-on-dark palette, and no tagline for the avatar; keep the full name and icon for overlays and your starting screen.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a Twitch logo for free?

Type your channel name, pick a stacked or badge layout with a gaming icon, and choose a neon palette; download the SVG and PNG. Then switch to the monogram layout, enter your initials, and export the brand kit for a 512 × 512 avatar to use as your profile picture.

What size should a Twitch profile picture be?

Twitch’s help center lists profile pictures at 256 × 256 px, up to 10 MB, in GIF, JPG or PNG. The 512 × 512 avatar in the brand kit scales down cleanly to that.

Can this make Twitch emotes or panels?

No. It makes logos — a wordmark, a badge and a monogram — as SVG and PNG. Emotes and panels have their own formats; use the SVG from here as the starting artwork in an image editor.

Can I use my logo commercially?

Yes. Logos you make here are built from an original parametric engine and open-licensed (SIL OFL) fonts, so you can use the downloaded files for commercial projects — merch, channels, storefronts and print. See the licensing page for the full terms.

Will my Twitch channel logo be trademark-safe?

We don’t run a trademark search, and a generated logo is not a registered trademark. Before you build a brand around it, check it against existing marks (for example the USPTO database) and avoid names or symbols that copy an existing streamer, game or Twitch’s own branding. The design is a starting point, not legal advice.
